Jerusalem Urban Resilience Studio

First thoughts just to draft them out:

First why
am i here, to be absolutely frank before arrival i hadn't had a clue as to the purpose of the trip. A workshop they said, they, the IPCC: International Piece are Cooperation Center! Who were they.. mattered not, i wanted to get out of London from the crowded long monotonous streets filled with its unhappy citizens, from the made up architectural dilemas of university studio life.. wanted to see the real conflict and to be part of a journey towrds its resolution. Jerusalem sounded as real and as challenging as it gets!
Why am i here than, 2 days into the studio I started to have a sense of the questions and dillemas on the ground. 2 and a half weeks into the studio I am absolutely sure the dilemmas and ways of working of Palestinian people are beyond our (studio's) understanding and this creates a lot of confusion as to the brief of the workshop and as to the methodology of work to peruse.

I haven't been blogging for far to long and there
fore I have some catching up to do to explain the processes I have been a part of as well to share my observations.
(I also hadn't had internet in my hotel room so it was quite tricky to sit quietly and privately and write. At this moment I am connected to someone else's network which and this connection I may loose at any time. The conditions of work here I will get to in time in this story.)
